SP 7B : Is There Something I Can Do To Be Successful ?

  

Certainly there is , if you never did something to succeed in life , you are not successful , all that have success in life , did one thing or the other to achieve success . There is a lot you can do as a person in order to succeed . So you don't sit down and fold arms thinking one day you will stumble on success miraculously or success '' manna''  will fall from heaven .

God wants us to do somethings in order to be successful , the scripture says , '' Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.'' 

Take notice of the phrase ''  be careful to do everything ''  , so you can do everything that successful people do according to the word of God and you will be successful .The following are among the number of things that all successful people do. We are basically looking at these seven things that you must do in order to be successful  :  

1. Working ,

It is of prime importance that you cultivate the attitude of working ,if indeed you want to be successful in any field of endeavour . Even the apostle Paul who was operating under the grace of God says he worked hard , in fact he used the word laboured more , to emphasise his hard work .” But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me “ 1 Corinthians 15:10 

Paul was the most successful apostle in the bible whose ministry reached out to many people and gentiles . He attributed the success to , two things , firstly the grace of God ,and secondly hard work . In the light of this we see how even the most gracious people need to work hard in order to become successful in life .  

As a man of God his labour or hard work is in prayers , fastings , preaching , evangelism , outreach crusades , travelling to far and remote villages to minister the gospel to sinners and the unreached people and many more . So to answer the question is there something I must do to be successful? Yes work hard one day you will be successful .

2. Studying 

It is equally important to pursue knowledge , that is why studying is a must for anyone who wants to be successful in life . You have to learn in many ways the different courses available for you to know in any field of endeavour you are expecting success from . All successful people know one or two things that made them successful . Life is a classroom , you have to study to know before you can update yourself with the current affairs , businesses, projects, works , jobs , services etc that are in demand by the consumers .

 Secondly , you need to learn in many ways how to make new products or render services that will bring you success . These are the two main reasons why you are supposed to study or make your education a lifetime affair  . The bible even affirms “ Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

There is the saying that “ readers are leaders “ this actually is true for all “ leaders are readers “  If  you cannot study enough you cannot lead enough . So it is important that you should learn , either formal , informal , virtual or online courses will build you up and take you far in your pursuit of success pursuit .

So to answer the question “ is there something I must do to be successful “ Yes study things that you can do in life that will yield the profit of success . 

3. Praying 

Prayer has been the spiritual backbone of most successful people , this is because there are spiritual forces that militate against your pursuit of success . Prayer is a divine invitation for God to intervene in our lives . Without prayer God is not invited , what is more , satan will be the only entity ruling your affairs to bring failure . 

“ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world “ 1 Peter 5:8-9 The devil is an adversary to your success journey , he will fight with all the spiritual means to devour your success . So in prayer we are able to resist the devil , so that we can prosper .

Yeshua emphasise on the need of prayer for success said “ Watch and pray “ Matthew 26:41 , and at one time , he said “ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8

There are at times when you feel like you have everything humanly possible , yet to no avail , that is when you need God to intervene . So you ask him in prayer to help you do what your human effects could not do , by so doing you are opening the door for God to come in and help you . Prayer will help you surmount all the predicament that limit success minded people like you . 

4. Right Relationship

Having the right relationship is very imperative. The right relationship involves two things .Firstly, relating with the right kind people , and secondly, treating the people around you the right way .People's resources for success cannot be underestimated in any way , that is having a right relationship is a prerequisite for success. 

If you want to be successful in life , one of the things you must do is to value people relationship . You must know how to choose the people that you relate with and how you relate with them in all ramifications . You must have the right discernment when choosing people who will be around you , talk to you , work with you or for you , lover { wife or husband } , friends , counsel you and so forth .

If you surround yourself with the right people , they can serve as promoters or shields for your success empire . The right people will push you up on the ladder of success , whilst the wrong people will pull you down . The right people will build you up to become successful , whilst the wrong people will demolish your success projects .

The right people will give the right counsel , the wrong people will give you evil counsel . We will use King Rehoboam, the successor of King Solomon as a case study . This king did not handle the kingdom of Israel successfully due to the association with the wrong people and the bad treatment he gave to the people around him . As a result in his days the kingdom of Israel was divided .   

“ 3So they sent for Jeroboam, and he and all Israel went to Rehoboam and said to him: 4“Your father put a heavy yoke on us, but now lighten the harsh labor and the heavy yoke he put on us, and we will serve you.”5Rehoboam answered, “Come back to me in three days.” So the people went away.6Then King Rehoboam consulted the elders who had served his father Solomon during his lifetime. “How would you advise me to answer these people?” he asked.7 They replied, “If you will be kind to these people and please them and give them a favourable answer, they will always be your servants.”8But Rehoboam rejected the advice the elders gave him and consulted the young men who had grown up with him and were serving him. 9He asked them, “What is your advice? How should we answer these people who say to me, ‘Lighten the yoke your father put on us’?”10The young men who had grown up with him replied, “The people have said to you, ‘Your father put a heavy yoke on us, but make our yoke lighter.’ Now tell them, ‘My little finger is thicker than my father’s waist. 11My father laid on you a heavy yoke; I will make it even heavier. My father scourged you with whips; I will scourge you with scorpions.’ ”12Three days later Jeroboam and all the people returned to Rehoboam, as the king had said, “Come back to me in three days.” 13The king answered them harshly. Rejecting the advice of the elders, 14 he followed the advice of the young men and said, “My father made your yoke heavy; I will make it even heavier. My father scourged you with whips; I will scourge you with scorpions.” 15So the king did not listen to the people, for this turn of events was from God, to fulfil the word the Lord had spoken to Jeroboam son of Nebat through Ahijah the Shilonite.16 When all Israel saw that the king refused to listen to them, they answered the king:“What share do we have in David,what part in Jesse’s son?To your tents, Israel! Look after your own house, David!”So all the Israelites went home. 17 But as for the Israelites who were living in the towns of Judah, Rehoboam still ruled over them.18King Rehoboam sent out Adoniram, who was in charge of forced labor, but the Israelites stoned him to death. King Rehoboam, however, managed to get into his chariot and escape to Jerusalem. 19So Israel has been in rebellion against the house of David to this day.” 2 Chronicles 10:3-19

6. Skilful 

Learn how to be skilful in your handiwork , or the services you provide . Invest in doing the best ,do not just try to do things anyhow for your clients  , deploy your best of skill . When you put in your best to render services or products , consumers will easily recommend your services or products to new clients or customers .

As much as possible, improve on your working skills by creating new ideas , new designs, being innovative , new products , or doing new courses to sharpen your skills for more opportunities in your field of profession . 

7.New Ventures  

Try to initiate new ventures, businesses, products or streams of income . It is very important that you always come up with new ideas of investment that will yield profit for you in the near future . You can sell new brands of products , try new stock of goods , open another shop elsewhere , a branch in another locality all for the sake of success .  

This is important because consumers , or clients are usually looking for new things to trial out . Moreso , because there are competitors who are seeking to outdo your brand or product , so that it becomes inferior to the consumers or clients .Trying out new ventures is very helpful for every successful person , to be able to keep up with the growing demands of consumerism and the competitive nature of the market . 

If you do not venture on new business ventures , you will plateau and eventually decline in your business or career venture . The world is constantly updating in many ways including new products , services ,  or goods . That is the reason  you have to also update yourself with new business ventures .

SP 6B : When Will God Help Me ?

 

Another question that probably comes into your thought is '' when will God help me ''  , like he helped others . This question often comes into your mind , whenever you hear someone's testimony of how God helped them to be successful  in life  . 

Indeed some people's testimonies are mind-blogging , and amazing that it makes you eager to have such personal experience of help from above . The fact is there is always a set time for God to help anybody who trusts  him for help when it comes to success . The scriptures declares '' Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.'' Psalm 103 :13

God has his own time table to help you out of your predicament , to favour you in such a way as to bring success into your life . This is what the scriptures refer to as the :” the set time “ , that  is something you ought to know as a child of God . God will not just help you because you need his help , neither will God help you because you ask him for help , or you sow your seed for the help  . 

At times God will not even send the help because you have faith ,Although all the aforementioned factors are a necessary requirement for God’s help. God will only help you when the time is ripe for the help . It is good to pray , fast , sow seed , pray , give or have faith for God to help you , yet to add to all this God only helps us in his time .

The scriptures say that,” He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end “Ecclesiastics 3:11 Anytime you find yourself wondering when will God help you ,you have to realise that God works with time .

The reason being that God wants to bring beauty into your life. When you want God to help you so fast ,in your own set time it makes you desperate . At times you feel disappointed when you are fond of comparing yourself with your colleagues and desiring to be like them .

There are some people whose definition of success is to have it quick , overtake competitors , do more than others , have more than others , do what someone else has done etc.This is a recipe for frustration , especially when you are waiting on God to help you out . Unlike you , God is not in competition with anyone , neither does God do something to impress anybody in any way .    

God takes the glory for whatever he helps you to achieve in life , and for that matter God helps you on his own purpose or agender for your life . That is the reason why God takes time to do whatever he wants to do in your life . Whenever God helps you to become successful , it is for his glory , not yours. Although you are the beneficiary , but all glory goes to God . 

For instance Yeshua prays for God’s help in a way and manner that ascribed all glory to God  “ These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee” John 17:1 Unlike many of us  who miss out on God’s timing , Yeshua knew the answer to the question , “ When will God help me? “ 

That is why he could say emphatically , “ the hour has come “ what hour? The hour to receive help from God to be successful in life . The hour to achieve his dreams , visions and plans in life .There is always an hour ; that is time for success which you have to be aware of , that when that time comes God will send you help like Joseph .

 “ He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.” Psalm 107:17-22 

To answer the question “ when will God help me?” The answer is found in the above scripture  “ Until the time that his word came” When your time comes to receive help from God , “ your word “ will come to helpers like Pharaoh { People in high places who can help you } and God will use them to help you . 

SP 5B : Why Is God Not Helping Me ?

'' I will lift up my eyes to the hills ,From whence comes my help? 2My help comes from the Lord,Who made heaven and earth. '' Psalm 121 :1-2

Many are wondering why God is not helping them to succeed in life , to the extent that they deny if there is ever a God who helps people in life .Yet God is really helping other people to become successful in their personal lives . In many ways God has been helping people and you are the next candidate for God to help . God can help you , but you have to be eager to receive God’s help in whichever way , time or format that the help appears .The following are among the many reasons why you are not receiving God’s help . 

Seeing God as A Helper 

For God to help you , you must first of all see him as your helper , it is an acknowledgement of God’s provision for your life . Like the opening scripture said ‘’ My help comes from the Lord “ when you have this perspective , you open the door for God to come into your life and give you the necessary aid for success . 

Why God is not helping many people is because they don’t see God as their helper , they usually devise dubious means to make it in life or become successful , stealing , prostitution , fraud , bribery , lying, rituals and all forms of sinful activities . The word of God says, “ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 

When you trust the Lord to help you , you will lean on the Lord confidently , you will not think that you are smart or you have understanding { experience } to be successful . Rather you will acknowledge the Lord and look up to him for help , in order for you to be  successful . 

The scriptures said “ So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Hebrews 13:6 This confession of God helping you is very important factor that attracts the help of God . 

Timing 

Whenever you think  that you have done everything right , yet God is not helping you ,you should understand that God works with time . The issue of timing is very essential if at all God will help you . God does help people ,but he has his own time table upon which he is going to use to help you in life . 

This means it is not about you , but is all about receiving God’s help in God’s time. The scripture speaks emphatically about God having his own time , which is esteemed as the best , “ For he says, “In the time of my favour I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2 { NIV}

When God decides that now is the time for him to help you , that is the exact period you will receive the help of God . If you are expecting the help of God , you must understand that God works with time . At the set time you will receive help engineered by God .” He hath made every thing beautiful in his time:” Ecclesiastes 3:11

Despising the help

 Or that God brought some help that you probably rejected or despised because it was seemingly small  , or yet still you abuse the human medium that God used to help you . Some people are in the habit of despising the help of God , probably because they think it is a small beginning comparable to how big they want to succeed .

The onset of success cannot be affected by the little beginning of the help . That is the reason you should not neglect small help from God . “Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?” Zechariah 4:10 { NIV}

The scriptures make us understand that your small beginnings will end up big , “ Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” Job 8:7 When God sends small help your way ,you must appreciate , embrace and make good use of that help ,if indeed you want to be successful in life .

Small help like amount of money for business , a small store , a small apartment , small stock of goods , a short course , a piece of land , a small congregation , small auditorium , etc can be the beginning of success if it is from God . Like the five loaves of bread that fed over five thousand people after Yeshua blessed it . 

What Yeshua did was to give thanks to God and prayed for the blessings of the Lord to come upon the loaves and you know the story .” And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all. 42 And they did all eat, and were filled. 43 And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes. 44 And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.’’ Mark 6:41-44 

Remember all these came from the help of a little boy , There are two things to note here that are very important . 

1. Yeshua did not despise the little boy .

2. Yeshua did not despise the smallness of the five loaves nor the two fishes .  That is one of the secrets of all successful people , they don’t despise small beginnings . 

Neglecting Talents And Gifts 

Many people have missed out on the help of God , because they neglected the talents or gifts that God endowed them with . Many people failed because they  neglected  the talents, gifts, work or money that God wanted to use to help them to be successful in life .

God’s highest level of helping a man is to endow him with a talent or gift of prominence , like Joseph and Daniel had the gifts of interpreting dreams . This gift is what God used to make them successful in the land of their captivity .Joseph interpreted Pharaoh's dream and that was the breakthrough to success . 

Daniel also interpreted the king of Babylon’s dream and that was the beginning of his  greatness in a strange land . Wherever you find yourself make use of your talents , dreams , natural abilities etc. and that is your road to success . “ A man's gift maketh room for him, And bringeth him before great men.” Proverbs 18:16 

God helps us by giving us a talent , gift or special ability that can help us to be successful in life . That is the more reason why you should not neglect God giving gift . Naturally, something you can do easily that others find it difficult to do is your talent or gift for success . Make good use of your gifts , improve on it , practise it, seek for opportunities to promote or showcase your gifts to the people who may be in need of your service  .   

Prodigality

Some children of God waste the help of God by prodigal spending , meaning they do not manage the resources that God gives them . They are not wise in their disbursement of money , they spend much money on unnecessary things to impress people , or to show off in a way that they are not suppose to .   

Many children of God behave like the prodigal child , they are spending the help that God gives them . When you are prodigal in spending , you waste all the resources that God gives to you to help you prosper and succeed in life . If you manage the little revenue,income,gifts , money, space ,capital,  job, etc.  that comes your way , you will see that God is actually helping you in life . 

“ And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.” Luke 15:13-14 

The prodigal son actually wasted the goods he received from the father ,in an extravagant lifestyle , he spent all his wealth especially with prostitutes . It was reported , the elder brother said,“ But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots... “ Luke 15:30 So he devoured all his success ventures by giving out to prostitutes . 

When you are prodigal , you overspend your money , capital , resources , or goods in a luxurious lifestyle . God may be helping you , but your prodigality might be destroying all the help that God sends your way like the prodigal son . 

SP 4B : Will God Help Me ?

Another anxious thought is when you are in doubt of God's eagerness to help a person like you . Perhaps because of your sins , you think that God is far from helping you or that God has forsaken you . But the truth is that God is seeking to help you overcome your sins and failures in life . The scriptures declares ;  '' if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land '' 2 Chronicles 7: 14 

If you need the help of God , repent of your sins and ask God for forgiveness , and then amend your evil ways . After that ask God in prayer to help you in your success journey . God is eager to help you more than you can ever imagine . The reason is God made us for his peculiar purpose , and we cannot achieve that very plan of God on our on . 

God sees the need to help us at all times ,because the devil is set to fight against us and the vision of God for our life . God has promised to help us in so many ways in different portions of the Holy Bible . So to answer the question ,” Will God Help Me “ , you have to know the answer from the word of God , how God is willing to help us .

God has promised us in various ways how he wants to be our helper , but we need to know the conditions under which God helps his people .There are godly requirement that are very important prerequisites for God to help you. These are things you should do or things you are not suppose to do, because you need God’s help  . If God will help you indeed the following  terms and conditions apply . 

Trust God 

Trusting God to help you is of prime importance to God , if at all he has plans to help you . The Psalmist said ‘’ I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. “ Psalm 121:1-2 God helps people who are eagerly expecting his help , this is very important to God .When we trust God we place value in God and in his capacity, trusting in God will prompt you to serve God with all your heart . 

To see that you help comes from God is a total trust and confidence in God’s unfailing arms . This means you believe for sure that God will help in life to be successful . Trusting in God is a strong motivation to pursue your vision in times of crises , when you feel helpless and there is no man to come to your aid . Consider this scripture , “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. ” Proverbs 3:5-6

Pray To God

The next thing that is a strong ingredient for God to help us is prayer , it is an art of inviting God to intervene in your human adventure . Anytime you pray ,it is a sign of dependence on God . God wants us to come to that point of realization that , we really need his help , that is the reason we call unto him in prayer .

Like the man Jabez who was suffering the pains of failure in life that brought sorrows , because of his name , which means “ pains or sorrow ” This man appeared honourable , yet had nothing in his honour , but tears and sorrows until he prayed to God for help . 

 “And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:9-10

 God answered his prayer , became blessed and successful in every area of endeavour . 

When you pray to God , your help will certainly come from the Lord , because he answers prayer . God himself made an invitation for us to pray .

 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”Jeremiah 33:3

The aspect of prayer cannot be underestimated when it comes to success . There are so many things only prayer can help you do . 

Have Faith In God 

Having faith in God is very important if God will help , that is the proof of your reliance upon God . Faith is a sign of our belief in the living God , and the capacity of our God to help us to be successful . If you are in doubt of what God can do , you cannot get God’s help . Consider the following portion of scripture ;

“ But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:6-8

Whenever you ask God to help you to succeed  in life , you must ask in faith .Asking in faith means , you believe that God has done it in your heart . You  don’t doubt in your mind , you are full of enthusiasm and you are expectant of the answer from God .

A faithless person on the other hand is full of doubts , and is double minded , when it comes to God’s provision of help .  The bible talks about praying a prayer of faith ,  “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. “ James 5:15 

It is not enough to pray if you do not have faith to receive answers , your faith is seen in your works , words , actions and things you venture into because you believe God will help you to succeed in doing them  .

Covenant With God 

God will help you when you walk in a covenant relationship with God according to his word . A covenant is a binding agreement between two , in which each party is obliged to keep the terms and agreements of the covenant . God agrees to bless us when we keep his commandments and do them . 

God does not want to have just a casual relationship with you , like a boy and girl in a friendly relationship . Rather God wants a covenant relationship with you like a husband and wife who has a covenant relationship of marriage through vows that binds them together in a solid matrimony . 

“  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: “ Hebrews 8:10

God’s covenant involves obeying the word of God and doing the will of God , and thereby attracting the blessings of God . Let's consider the following scripture , “ And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. “ Deuteronomy 28:1-2 

Obey God

Live in obedience to the word of God , keep his commandments , do what the Lord God will minister into your heart , indeed you want to be successful like Joseph . Joseph refused to sleep with Portipha’s wife , because he was obeying the word of God . 

If you obey the word of God , you will not commit adultery , you will not steal , lie or dupe someone because you want to be successful in life . Desist from taking or giving out bribes because you want to be successful , just obey the word of  God . There is help for all those who obey the word of God at all times . 

The bible talks about enjoining good things because of obedience to God , “  If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: “ Isaiah 1:19 Success is good , everybody wants to be associated with success , no one wants to be associated with failure . Success is a definition of achievement of dreams and visions in life. Anytime your dreams come to pass , it means you are successful .That is the good of the land that God’s word is talking about .  

God told Joshua ,” 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8 So obeying the word of God brings good success . Any form of success that is not based on obedience to the word of God , is not a good success ; it is a bad success .  

That is when you do bad things like lying, bribery , drug trafficking ,money ritual, prostitution , stealing and others to succeed . 

 

Help Others   

If you want God to help you , you must cultivate the habit of helping others . Helping other people who need your help is very important , because it is a seed sown into your own destiny . There is a scripture that is referred to as the golden rule  “   Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:12 

In this portion of scripture we understand that helping other people will attract help to you . Like the portion of scripture that indicates that giving to others is reciprocal , 

“ Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6:38

 When you give people any form of assistance in kind or cash , you are sure to get it back according to the word of God . The reason giving to other people is important is because it is as good as giving to Jesus according to scripture . 

“ And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:40 Doing good deeds to others means you are ministering to the need of God , that is to say you are doing the will of God . 

Helping others means God can use you to answer the prayers of many people who are praying to God for help . Anytime you help people, their prayers to God for help have been answered through you . That is the more reason why God will also help you , by using other people to come to your aid . 

Give Offerings And Tithes 

Giving tithes and offerings is God’s sure requirement for the blessings of success . It is important that you should do something that will invoke the blessings of the Lord upon your life . The Book of Malachi 3:10-11 ‘’ Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.’’

Giving tithes and offerings makes God open windows of heaven ,and unleash his blessings upon your work and vision that makes you successful . Giving for the course of God’s kingdom or for the welfare of the church of God is God’s desire and it will never go unrewarded . As matter of fact , it takes God’s blessing for a person to be successful in life .

Many people eager for success have struggled in vain , worked so hard from dawn to dust yet to no avail , all because they lack the blessings of God in their lives . So it is very important that every successful person should give something for the work of God . This will activate the blessing of God upon you to ensure success in your life .
