SP 5B : Why Is God Not Helping Me ?

'' I will lift up my eyes to the hills ,From whence comes my help? 2My help comes from the Lord,Who made heaven and earth. '' Psalm 121 :1-2

Many are wondering why God is not helping them to succeed in life , to the extent that they deny if there is ever a God who helps people in life .Yet God is really helping other people to become successful in their personal lives . In many ways God has been helping people and you are the next candidate for God to help . God can help you , but you have to be eager to receive God’s help in whichever way , time or format that the help appears .The following are among the many reasons why you are not receiving God’s help . 

Seeing God as A Helper 

For God to help you , you must first of all see him as your helper , it is an acknowledgement of God’s provision for your life . Like the opening scripture said ‘’ My help comes from the Lord “ when you have this perspective , you open the door for God to come into your life and give you the necessary aid for success . 

Why God is not helping many people is because they don’t see God as their helper , they usually devise dubious means to make it in life or become successful , stealing , prostitution , fraud , bribery , lying, rituals and all forms of sinful activities . The word of God says, “ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 

When you trust the Lord to help you , you will lean on the Lord confidently , you will not think that you are smart or you have understanding { experience } to be successful . Rather you will acknowledge the Lord and look up to him for help , in order for you to be  successful . 

The scriptures said “ So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Hebrews 13:6 This confession of God helping you is very important factor that attracts the help of God . 

Timing 

Whenever you think  that you have done everything right , yet God is not helping you ,you should understand that God works with time . The issue of timing is very essential if at all God will help you . God does help people ,but he has his own time table upon which he is going to use to help you in life . 

This means it is not about you , but is all about receiving God’s help in God’s time. The scripture speaks emphatically about God having his own time , which is esteemed as the best , “ For he says, “In the time of my favour I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2 { NIV}

When God decides that now is the time for him to help you , that is the exact period you will receive the help of God . If you are expecting the help of God , you must understand that God works with time . At the set time you will receive help engineered by God .” He hath made every thing beautiful in his time:” Ecclesiastes 3:11

Despising the help

 Or that God brought some help that you probably rejected or despised because it was seemingly small  , or yet still you abuse the human medium that God used to help you . Some people are in the habit of despising the help of God , probably because they think it is a small beginning comparable to how big they want to succeed .

The onset of success cannot be affected by the little beginning of the help . That is the reason you should not neglect small help from God . “Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?” Zechariah 4:10 { NIV}

The scriptures make us understand that your small beginnings will end up big , “ Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” Job 8:7 When God sends small help your way ,you must appreciate , embrace and make good use of that help ,if indeed you want to be successful in life .

Small help like amount of money for business , a small store , a small apartment , small stock of goods , a short course , a piece of land , a small congregation , small auditorium , etc can be the beginning of success if it is from God . Like the five loaves of bread that fed over five thousand people after Yeshua blessed it . 

What Yeshua did was to give thanks to God and prayed for the blessings of the Lord to come upon the loaves and you know the story .” And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all. 42 And they did all eat, and were filled. 43 And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes. 44 And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.’’ Mark 6:41-44 

Remember all these came from the help of a little boy , There are two things to note here that are very important . 

1. Yeshua did not despise the little boy .

2. Yeshua did not despise the smallness of the five loaves nor the two fishes .  That is one of the secrets of all successful people , they don’t despise small beginnings . 

Neglecting Talents And Gifts 

Many people have missed out on the help of God , because they neglected the talents or gifts that God endowed them with . Many people failed because they  neglected  the talents, gifts, work or money that God wanted to use to help them to be successful in life .

God’s highest level of helping a man is to endow him with a talent or gift of prominence , like Joseph and Daniel had the gifts of interpreting dreams . This gift is what God used to make them successful in the land of their captivity .Joseph interpreted Pharaoh's dream and that was the breakthrough to success . 

Daniel also interpreted the king of Babylon’s dream and that was the beginning of his  greatness in a strange land . Wherever you find yourself make use of your talents , dreams , natural abilities etc. and that is your road to success . “ A man's gift maketh room for him, And bringeth him before great men.” Proverbs 18:16 

God helps us by giving us a talent , gift or special ability that can help us to be successful in life . That is the more reason why you should not neglect God giving gift . Naturally, something you can do easily that others find it difficult to do is your talent or gift for success . Make good use of your gifts , improve on it , practise it, seek for opportunities to promote or showcase your gifts to the people who may be in need of your service  .   

Prodigality

Some children of God waste the help of God by prodigal spending , meaning they do not manage the resources that God gives them . They are not wise in their disbursement of money , they spend much money on unnecessary things to impress people , or to show off in a way that they are not suppose to .   

Many children of God behave like the prodigal child , they are spending the help that God gives them . When you are prodigal in spending , you waste all the resources that God gives to you to help you prosper and succeed in life . If you manage the little revenue,income,gifts , money, space ,capital,  job, etc.  that comes your way , you will see that God is actually helping you in life . 

“ And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.” Luke 15:13-14 

The prodigal son actually wasted the goods he received from the father ,in an extravagant lifestyle , he spent all his wealth especially with prostitutes . It was reported , the elder brother said,“ But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots... “ Luke 15:30 So he devoured all his success ventures by giving out to prostitutes . 

When you are prodigal , you overspend your money , capital , resources , or goods in a luxurious lifestyle . God may be helping you , but your prodigality might be destroying all the help that God sends your way like the prodigal son . 

SP 4B : Will God Help Me ?

Another anxious thought is when you are in doubt of God's eagerness to help a person like you . Perhaps because of your sins , you think that God is far from helping you or that God has forsaken you . But the truth is that God is seeking to help you overcome your sins and failures in life . The scriptures declares ;  '' if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land '' 2 Chronicles 7: 14 

If you need the help of God , repent of your sins and ask God for forgiveness , and then amend your evil ways . After that ask God in prayer to help you in your success journey . God is eager to help you more than you can ever imagine . The reason is God made us for his peculiar purpose , and we cannot achieve that very plan of God on our on . 

God sees the need to help us at all times ,because the devil is set to fight against us and the vision of God for our life . God has promised to help us in so many ways in different portions of the Holy Bible . So to answer the question ,” Will God Help Me “ , you have to know the answer from the word of God , how God is willing to help us .

God has promised us in various ways how he wants to be our helper , but we need to know the conditions under which God helps his people .There are godly requirement that are very important prerequisites for God to help you. These are things you should do or things you are not suppose to do, because you need God’s help  . If God will help you indeed the following  terms and conditions apply . 

Trust God 

Trusting God to help you is of prime importance to God , if at all he has plans to help you . The Psalmist said ‘’ I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. “ Psalm 121:1-2 God helps people who are eagerly expecting his help , this is very important to God .When we trust God we place value in God and in his capacity, trusting in God will prompt you to serve God with all your heart . 

To see that you help comes from God is a total trust and confidence in God’s unfailing arms . This means you believe for sure that God will help in life to be successful . Trusting in God is a strong motivation to pursue your vision in times of crises , when you feel helpless and there is no man to come to your aid . Consider this scripture , “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. ” Proverbs 3:5-6

Pray To God

The next thing that is a strong ingredient for God to help us is prayer , it is an art of inviting God to intervene in your human adventure . Anytime you pray ,it is a sign of dependence on God . God wants us to come to that point of realization that , we really need his help , that is the reason we call unto him in prayer .

Like the man Jabez who was suffering the pains of failure in life that brought sorrows , because of his name , which means “ pains or sorrow ” This man appeared honourable , yet had nothing in his honour , but tears and sorrows until he prayed to God for help . 

 “And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:9-10

 God answered his prayer , became blessed and successful in every area of endeavour . 

When you pray to God , your help will certainly come from the Lord , because he answers prayer . God himself made an invitation for us to pray .

 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”Jeremiah 33:3

The aspect of prayer cannot be underestimated when it comes to success . There are so many things only prayer can help you do . 

Have Faith In God 

Having faith in God is very important if God will help , that is the proof of your reliance upon God . Faith is a sign of our belief in the living God , and the capacity of our God to help us to be successful . If you are in doubt of what God can do , you cannot get God’s help . Consider the following portion of scripture ;

“ But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” James 1:6-8

Whenever you ask God to help you to succeed  in life , you must ask in faith .Asking in faith means , you believe that God has done it in your heart . You  don’t doubt in your mind , you are full of enthusiasm and you are expectant of the answer from God .

A faithless person on the other hand is full of doubts , and is double minded , when it comes to God’s provision of help .  The bible talks about praying a prayer of faith ,  “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. “ James 5:15 

It is not enough to pray if you do not have faith to receive answers , your faith is seen in your works , words , actions and things you venture into because you believe God will help you to succeed in doing them  .

Covenant With God 

God will help you when you walk in a covenant relationship with God according to his word . A covenant is a binding agreement between two , in which each party is obliged to keep the terms and agreements of the covenant . God agrees to bless us when we keep his commandments and do them . 

God does not want to have just a casual relationship with you , like a boy and girl in a friendly relationship . Rather God wants a covenant relationship with you like a husband and wife who has a covenant relationship of marriage through vows that binds them together in a solid matrimony . 

“  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: “ Hebrews 8:10

God’s covenant involves obeying the word of God and doing the will of God , and thereby attracting the blessings of God . Let's consider the following scripture , “ And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. “ Deuteronomy 28:1-2 

Obey God

Live in obedience to the word of God , keep his commandments , do what the Lord God will minister into your heart , indeed you want to be successful like Joseph . Joseph refused to sleep with Portipha’s wife , because he was obeying the word of God . 

If you obey the word of God , you will not commit adultery , you will not steal , lie or dupe someone because you want to be successful in life . Desist from taking or giving out bribes because you want to be successful , just obey the word of  God . There is help for all those who obey the word of God at all times . 

The bible talks about enjoining good things because of obedience to God , “  If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: “ Isaiah 1:19 Success is good , everybody wants to be associated with success , no one wants to be associated with failure . Success is a definition of achievement of dreams and visions in life. Anytime your dreams come to pass , it means you are successful .That is the good of the land that God’s word is talking about .  

God told Joshua ,” 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8 So obeying the word of God brings good success . Any form of success that is not based on obedience to the word of God , is not a good success ; it is a bad success .  

That is when you do bad things like lying, bribery , drug trafficking ,money ritual, prostitution , stealing and others to succeed . 

 

Help Others   

If you want God to help you , you must cultivate the habit of helping others . Helping other people who need your help is very important , because it is a seed sown into your own destiny . There is a scripture that is referred to as the golden rule  “   Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:12 

In this portion of scripture we understand that helping other people will attract help to you . Like the portion of scripture that indicates that giving to others is reciprocal , 

“ Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6:38

 When you give people any form of assistance in kind or cash , you are sure to get it back according to the word of God . The reason giving to other people is important is because it is as good as giving to Jesus according to scripture . 

“ And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Matthew 25:40 Doing good deeds to others means you are ministering to the need of God , that is to say you are doing the will of God . 

Helping others means God can use you to answer the prayers of many people who are praying to God for help . Anytime you help people, their prayers to God for help have been answered through you . That is the more reason why God will also help you , by using other people to come to your aid . 

Give Offerings And Tithes 

Giving tithes and offerings is God’s sure requirement for the blessings of success . It is important that you should do something that will invoke the blessings of the Lord upon your life . The Book of Malachi 3:10-11 ‘’ Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.’’

Giving tithes and offerings makes God open windows of heaven ,and unleash his blessings upon your work and vision that makes you successful . Giving for the course of God’s kingdom or for the welfare of the church of God is God’s desire and it will never go unrewarded . As matter of fact , it takes God’s blessing for a person to be successful in life .

Many people eager for success have struggled in vain , worked so hard from dawn to dust yet to no avail , all because they lack the blessings of God in their lives . So it is very important that every successful person should give something for the work of God . This will activate the blessing of God upon you to ensure success in your life . 

  

SP 3B : Can God Help Me ?

” So we may boldly say: 'The Lord is my helper;I will not fear. What can man do to me ? ' Hebrew 13 : 6

When you reach a point of thinking where you feel helpless , you should know that God can help you to be successful in your pursuit . Just aim for the help of God , believe in God to help and pray for his help . 

Without the help of God satan can frustrate your success endeavours  , so ultimately you can do everything right , but it is only the help of God that will establish you in success . In the opening scripture God has promised to be our very present help in the times of need. But you need to be aware that God actually has plans to help you in life to be successful . 

The next thing is that you have to know the capacity of God , what God is able to do and how far he can help you to become successful in life . God is able to help to be on top of the top , like the way he helped Joseph to become the ruler { prime minister } of Egypt .This answers the question “ Can God Help Me? “ Yes he can .

God has what it takes to help everyone in need , the power and all the resources to help you is readily available for you as you come to him for help . No matter the decree of failure or disappointment in your life or how bad your case may be, God is able to help you to become successful in life . 

 God has the power to remove all the barriers of success that seem to impede the speed of your success . There is virtually nobody that has a situation so bad that God cannot really help . God can help people who are in the worst kind of circumstances to rise up and overcome . The scriptures affirm , “ He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he hath set the world upon them.” 1 Samuel 2:8  

God  can help even the beggar and lift him up from the dunghill , if need be . When God is helping you he does not just set you free , but also lift you up and establish you among the princes { rulers }. God can also give you a reserve seat of prominence in life called “ the throne of glory “ 

God has unlimited power to help each and everyone of us to reach the  topmost ladder of success . God has all the resources of success like people in high places , money ,position and honour at his disposal . So if God wants to help you to succeed in life, he has everything in his power to help you to achieve great things . 

There is no limit as to how far God can help you or bless you to become successful in life . In the case of Joseph God used the king of Egypt ; Pharaoh, to help him to become successful .      

“ 19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance: ” Psalm 105:19-21

Pharaoh was used as a destiny helper in the life of Joseph , there is always a direction , a medium or person { people } that God brings your way that can be of help to you .Never doubt the potency of God to help you , like Zaheriah the high priest who doubted the angel Gabriel who came to tell him that the wife Elizabeth will conceive and bring forth a son .

“ And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. ” Luke 1:18-19

Why the high priest found it difficult to believe the prophecy was because he thought that since he and the wife were both old , it is impossible for them to have their own child .One thing he did not know is that “ with God all things are possible .” 

When the angel told Abraham that Sarah would conceive  and bring forth a child ,  Sarah laughed and the angel answered “14 Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.15 “  Genesis 18:14  There is no help that you need from God, that is too hard for God to offer to you , and for that matter to answer the question “| Can God help me “  the answer is yes .

SP 2B : Why Was I Created ?

 

'' For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. ''  

The reason for your existence  is determined by the word of God , and nothing else . Your past experience should not define the reason why God created you .

If you experience a vicious circle of failure that does not mean that God created you for that , or that you are not meant to be successful in life . Always have this positive thought in your heart ,I am  '' created in Christ Jesus for good works ''

Created for good works should be in your mindset ,  that is to say that you know the stuff you are made off , ‘’ good works ‘’ that should be your greatest motivation , whenever you want to pursue your success venture . If you answer the question ‘’ why was I created ‘’ correctly , then you discover that  ‘’ good works’’ is your pursuit of success and that you should work on it .

Your good works is what God prepared for you to walk in it , meaning to pursue it until you attain to those good deeds .This means God has a standard of life for you to attain to and you should not miss out on that aim . Everyone of us has the mission and the very assignment for which we were created by God . It might take different forms for each  individual  person , but the point is God wants you to do things in such a way that you end up  doing the good deeds that will eventually make you successful .

In the bible we see that , God told Jeremiah that he was created to be a prophet to the nations .’’ Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.’’ Jeremiah 1:5 The purpose for which God created Jeremiah is spelt out in the scripture , so this prophet knew why God created him . So his only responsibility is to walk in it and obey the word of God .

One of the things that  gives us fulfilment in life is when we discover the reason for which God created us and walk in it , then we will become successful in life . Every successful person had a discovery of God’s plan and purpose for his or her life ,and began to pursue it . Whenever , a person does not know his or her purpose or mission on earth , such a person becomes a wanderer in this world and begins to do their own thing .

What happens is that such people end up being frustrated in life , and they appear to be failures .All because they are pursuing their own means , which leads them to the wrong ends . Like the saying goes “ The end justifies the means “ , so the “ means “ ,is the way and manner in which you choose to do things . This can be walking in the will of God or walking in your own way.That is making your own choices and taking decisions to suit your own preference , instead of doing the will of God or obeying the word of God .  

Whenever you find yourself doing something that disobeys the word of God because you want to be successful , it means that you are heading towards failure . Genuine success comes when you walk in the word of God and ensure that you do everything in the light of the Holy Scriptures .  Many people have deviated from the purpose of God , by doing all the sinful things in life all in the name of success, such success is referred to as ” bad success “.

In the bible the word of God talks about good success , which means there is a bad success , “  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8 

“ Good Success ” comes as a result of obeying the word of God , doing the will of God in order to be successful in life . “ Bad Success “ is doing sinful things to have money , such as lying , stealing , prostitution , bribery and all forms of diabolical things just because you want to make it in life at all cost . Joseph discovered that he was created to be a ruler through the dreams he had , 

6. And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: 7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. 8 his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words. 9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. 10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? “  Genesis 37:6-10

These two dreams show that Joseph was created to be a ruler , and this can only become a reality through the help of  God . What he did was to walk hand in hand with God for that dream to become a reality and that is success . For Joseph the scriptures report , “ And  YHVH was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. “ Genesis 39:2

When your dreams or plans in life become a reality , it is success . Like Joseph every successful person takes delight in the  fulfilment of his or her God given dreams . 

SP 1B : Who Created Me ?

 Who Created Me ? 

The answer to this question will define your self  worth , when you find out that no matter how good or bad you see yourself  or  people see you , you are the handiwork of God . The fact that God created you the way you , means that you are qualified to succeed in life . 

  '' I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. '' Psalm 139 :14 

You are not an accidental pregnancy , you are not just a mere human , you are not just the product of your family , but you are wonderfully made by God .Don't unnecessarily assume that you will be like your father or end up like your mother , or that because you come from a particular family , you will be like them . Or perhaps there is a pattern of failure in your family , no one has been successful in that regard , so that might be your thought . Let this be your mindset  '' I am fearfully and wonderfully made ''  by God for success .

Success starts the moment you discover that you were created by God for that very purpose; to be successful in life.Among other things God blessed mankind to be successful like God himself .

‘’ 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.’’ Genesis 1:26-28

, That is the  reason why we were created in the image of God .When you know the God who created you ,will have confident to become successful in this life .Daniel 11:32 affirms ‘’  but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.’’ Genuine success comes from this realisation ; knowing  your creator . 

The moment you miss out of this reality that God Almighty created you, satan can give you inferior thoughts about you and this will affect your capacity to function well in life . When you are disoriented from your creator , you can feel worthless , especially in hard times  . You need to know that you were created by a good God for a good purpose in this life , and more especially being the handiwork of God means you are designed to become successful . It is very important for every human being to know all the qualities and nature of God , so that you can trust in his creation or product . God is flawless and infable ,meaning he cannot make a mistake in creating somebody. No matter who you are  or the circumstances surrounding your birth, the disabilities you have or the challenges you face , you are never a mistake of human .

You need to know that the God who created you is perfect , therefore you are also perfectly created by God to succeed in life . The scriptures declare , “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17

Therefore you are a good and perfect gift that God gave you parents, family and the world at large at large . Having this mindset will give you a good healthy image about yourself and build in you the confidence for a successful life . Your source determines how successful you are in life, Jesus knows his source was God , he came from God ,and that  God is at work in him to make him succeed in his mission on earth .    

SP 8 : Resources For Success

 Resources are the things that we use to do or get what we want in life , this resources are natural or man made .This is how the dictionary defined resources ; '' a stock or supply of money, materials, staff, and other assets that can be drawn on by a person or organization in order to function effectively. ''

God has also provided many successful resources with which a person can actually succeed in life .The following are some of the resources that one can use to become successful in life ,

1. Brain :

The human brain is what God gave us to use in order to  function properly to become successful in life . The efficacy of the human brain should not be taken for granted in any way because many people have used their brains to become successful in life . 

So if you think you have nothing , then you should know that you have brains , sit down and meditate with your brains ,  analyzing the necessary things you can do in life in  order to be successful in your pursuit .   

2. Education :

Education is one of the greatest resources of success that we must not overlook if you want to be successful in life .Either formal or informal education , is of great importance if we want to become successful in life . Every child of God must understand that , education of is a key to success that you should pursue .  

3. People , 

People resources is very important , God has given us people around us that can help us to succeed in life , if only we know how to handle people , we shall be successful . People like faithful friends , helpful relatives , caring spouses , loyal employees , good employers , customers , clients , consumers , passengers , students ,tenants , co-tenants , Landlords etc are needed in our success ventures .

4. Money 

Money is another resources for success that we should give attention to , if we want to succeed in life , anyone who knows how to use money as capital ,principal , investment , etc . can be successful in life .To succeed financially , you must be a good custodian of money , this means you know how  to earn , give , save or spend money wisely . 

5. Places 

There are some places that you can actually succeed in , when you get there . These are places of work , a place of investment , travelling abroad , etc. Other places of interest that a resources of success  include , your shop, your store room , your warehouse , your office , your place of work etc 

Geographical places can be very good resources , that we really need in addition to all the other resources , For instance Joseph's dream of success only came to pass when was taken to Egypt . So Egypt was his place of success , that means Joseph would not have succeeded had he not gone to Egypt .  For you to have  success in life you must know your place of success very well .

6. Hands 

Hands to work with includes , things that you are very good at doing , talents or gifts , which are special abilities that you can do at best. The hands also signifies your ability to work and earn money . The bible says '' The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. '' Deuteronomy 28: 12: 

7. The word of God , 

The word of God is so far the greatest resources God gave at your disposal for you to be successful in life . The scriptures declares ,'' This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. '' Joshua 1:8 

Meditating ,  confessing , and obeying the word of God will ultimately make you successful  in every pursuit of life . 

8. Talents , 

Talents are the innate abilities , giftings , handiwork or handicraft  that a person have that he or she can use in a creative way to earn money by rendering services or producing goods for consumers who will ultimately pay you money in return .

9 . Trading or business ,

Trading is the art of buying and selling in order to make profit , This has been most popular , common and available  resources of success that is readily available for everybody  to have and used to become successful . Many people have become successful doing business .
