SP 14 B: Am I With The Wrong Person ?

 

This question will help you know the kind of person who you see as your best friend , partner , companion , peer or relative that is so close to you that you cannot take any decision without consulting him. More often than not they seem to mean everything to you that if the person is evil , or gives evil counsel you end up taking the wrong decision that can destroy your success .

Always make sure that the very person close to you is a good influence and not a bad influence in your success life . A good influence is the right person that motivates , inspires , encourages , advises and counsel you not to give up in your pursuit in life . A good influence can be used as a destiny helper for your life to be successful . Every child of God must understand that bad companions ruin evil character , this means that keeping company will evil people as friends will have an adverse effect on you . The scriptures declare “ Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14

You choose your friends carefully , because they are all influential to success , a friend, partner or spouse can either be a good or bad influence to your success ambition .The kind of people who come around you , stay with you , work with you or do business with you can go a long way to affect your success either positively or negatively .

 This is the more reason why you should be able to discern whether you are with the right company , labourers , manager , workers ,  secretary , friend ,client , compatriote etc . Anybody around you that does not contribute positively to dreams , rather they only influence is only  negative must be avoided at all cost .  

God disconnected Joseph from his brothers because they were such an evil influence to his dreams , “ And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.” Genesis 37:8 

If the people around you do not like your dream , ambition or plans ,and as such they dislike your words like the brothers of Joseph , be careful and try as much as possible to dissociate yourself from them  . Such will try to fight you or fight against your dreams of success . Some people can be so desperate and wicked against you to the extent that they might try to even annihilate you because of your success venture .

Let us consider the wicked agenda of the brothers against Joseph . “ And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.19 And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.” Genesis 37:18-20  

God finally arranged that Joseph should go very far from his brothers , so that it will serve as a deliverance from their hands . At times you need to be separated from the evil companions before the blessing of God becomes a reality in your destiny . Another example is Lot who followed Abraham ;

 “And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.” Genesis 13:14-16

God wanted to bless Abraham , but Lot must be separated from him first , before everything will take shape . Notice the phrase “ after Lot was separated from him “ This implies that that form of success God told him about is only possible , under the condition that Lot is separated from him . At times success comes after some people have gone from our lives .

SP 13 B : Am I In The Wrong Place ?

Are you in the right place; an environment that God would like you to be , or are you in the wrong place altogether ? Being in the wrong place , is like light having fellowship with darkness .as the scriptures declares , 

'' 14.Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what [d]fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what [e]communion has light with darkness? 15And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you[f] are the temple of the living God. As God has said:“I will dwell in themAnd walk among them.I will be their God,And they shall be My people.”17Therefore“Come out from among themAnd be separate, says the Lord.Do not touch what is unclean,And I will receive you.”18“I will be a Father to you,And you shall be My sons and daughters,Says the Lord Almighty.”  2 Corinthians 6:14-18

For instance if you are working at the nightclub , you need to come out from among them and be separate , if you are in the gang of armed robbery , come out from their company . There are some environments that repel your success , you need to leave some wrong environment , so that you can be free indeed to be successful . 

Like Joseph we all have our Egypt , that is the place of our success , without your dreams might not be a reality . This means that God has a particular geography for your success ambitions to become a reality . Whenever , we find the physical location where God has designed to bring success in our lives , it is the beginning of great success .

One of the things that hinder our success is whenever we find ourselves in the wrong place .People who are in the wrong geography are always missing out a great deal of all that God has in stock for you . The child of God must understand that every blessing has a location , where it will start working in your life .God told Isaac about location success , because of the blessing of the Lord .”And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;’’Genesis 26;2-4

If you find out that you are in the wrong place ,you must make a conscious decision to locate the right place for your success  .Success has a place that it does happen to us , at times we encounter our success in the place where God has ordained it for us . God works  with seasons and locations , that is why you must be careful of the places that you go or work . 

The wrong location , place or environment will definitely delay or hinder your success , no matter how hard you work . This is because God is not working in your favour to become successful in such a place . The reason being that God has a kingdom purpose for your life and there is a location for it as a child of God  . 

Abraham was told to leave his hometown , his country and his father’s house to a place that God wanted him to be . You must discover the rightful place for yourself , that is the place God is positioning you . God is very particular and very specific when it comes to geography ,that is the very place that the Lord has ordained for you to be .  

“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

4 So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.” Genesis 12:1-5

Abraham became successful in the Land of Canaan where God actually led him to go and reside . This is among the many reasons why you should be in the place where God wants you to be .The family house , the father’s hometown was the wrong environment that Abraham could not really succeed in . This is probably because they were idol worshippers , and God was calling Abraham to worship the Almighty Elohim . 

SP 12 B : Have I Done Something Wrong ?

 

At times you need to  try to recuperate  whether you have done something sinful or not , Do a recollection into the past , to remember any past sins, offenses , mistakes , misconduct, disrespect, theft, adultery , rape , abortion , hurting people , abusing people, maltreating someone , lied against someone, abandoned a pregnancy , etc. 

These past misdeeds can go along way to hinder your success in life, you have to amend your ways , by confession , restitution  and asking the offended party and or God to forgive you .The scriptures declares , ''If I regard iniquity in my heart,The Lord will not hear.'' Psalm 66:18 

Sins committed in the pass have the capacity to hinder you from making progress , because it is the seed sown into your future . Anytime you do something wrong , you should know that you are sowing a seed into your own future . Success seeds are the good deeds and the jobs that you do .However, these seeds can be corrupted by your evil deeds or jobs that you also do .

That is why you must make a conscious decision to make sure that you always do the right thing that will serve as a seed of success . The word of God says, “ Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:7  The following are among the many evil things that people do , that really can affect their future success : 

1. Lying

Whenever you lie in business matters or you are fond of speaking lies in your profession , career or office , you are sowing a seed that can affect your success venture in the near future . Lying to customers ,consumers, clients , labourers or  workers about products or services is a recipe for failure in your success pursuit . Lies are deceitful “blocks” that can cause your success “building” to be demolished unexpectedly .

2. Stealing 

Stealing is an art of taking something that belongs to someone without the consent of the person , especially when the person is desperately looking for that thing . Your theft can bring a curse into your future destiny , and your success can be truncated because of it .

This is possible because the victim might pronounce so much evil , out of desperation against you . And such evil words can become a curse that will affect your success somehow .

3. Extortion

Extorting people of their hard earned money is a very serious offence that has evil consequences . Anybody who chooses to be a perpetrator of such a diabolical act will be penalised by God . An extortionist is someone who has the practice of obtaining something, especially money, through the means of force or threats.The sin of extortion has a very bad effect on the extortionist , anyone one in the habit of doing so , is liable to be a failure at the end .If you are pursuing success try to desist from the act of extortion .

4. Fraud 

Fraud is another means of taking money or properties from people using tricks , deceit or lies . Fraudsters usually come promising goodies that are irresistible somehow making it difficult to escape their trap . Many wise and intelligent people have fallen prey to fraudulent activities .

If you defraud someone , never think that you can actually escape for real . This is because the victims of fraud usually pray and call upon God for vengeance . God will hold you accountable for such a misdeed , so in the long run it will affect your success venture very negatively . 

Fraudsters usually end up loosing all the things they got through the fraud , at times including their lives . 

5. Counterfeit products 

If you ever produce goods that are counterfeit , and bring them into the market for consumers to use , this is a very diabolical act . Those who bring in fake products into the market for public consumption are liable to face the consequence , because it will affect their success . Any business person  who wants to be successful must desist from such things as bringing in contraband goods into the market . 

6. Falsifying documents 

Falsifying documents to suit a purpose of fraud , theft or deceit is one of the evil things that can affect your success dreams . Anybody pursuing success must do honest things , any dishonest form of documentation such as adding zeros to figures , or digits to increase amounts on receipts in a dubious way, must be discouraged  .

7. Cheating business partners

Another category of people who are liable to fail in their pursuit of success are those who delight in cheating their business partners . These are people who deprive their fellow business counterparts of their share of the business proceeds or dividends . These people usually breach terms and conditions binding the business agreement with their counterparts .

They take delight in circumventing the conditions to suit their dubious schemes to their own advantage . When you cheat business partners , you certainly cannot succeed or get away with it , beware! 

8. Slandering the innocent

Slandering the innocent is the act of fabricating  lies against an innocent person so as to put that person in danger . At times a rival company can frame up an allegation against the product of a competitor , so that they can take over the market or gain the favour of the consumers .   

9. False claims 

False claims are very dangerous in the business world. Whenever a manufacturer claims that a particular product can perform a function that is not true , such lies can ruin the company and bring the company into disrepute . False claims on products have the evil repercussion of destroying the reputation and the credibility of the business firm .Businesses with false claims do not have any good future . . 

10. Not paying workers 

Another area of evil is when you are in the habit of not paying your workers . You are creating a room for a curse , or the punishment of God that will go a long way to affect your success dreams . For Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,” and “The worker deserves his wages.” 1 Timothy 5:18

 

SP 11 B : Is It The Will of God For Me To Do What Am Doing Now ?

 

Don't just do things because other people are succeeding by doing it ,but rather do what pleases God , that is the will of God for your life . When you do what God wants you to do , you become successful , try as much as possible to discover what God wants you to do or the will of God for your life and start doing the same , then you shall succeed doing it .  

Success comes to us in the process of time if we do what God has ordained for us to do . Whatever people do in order to be successful is usually what God has wired them for . If God has not designed you to do a particular thing , and you discover that other people are doing and succeeding in it , it does not warrant that you too will become successful by doing the same thing .

True success comes to us when we do what God actually wants us to do . When that happens , it means we are fulfilling destiny the way God wanted you to be . How do you know that what you are doing is the will of God? The following are the characteristics that determine that you are actually doing what God wants you to do . 

Talent for it 

Whatever you are doing to become successful , make sure you have the natural talents ; that is the ability to do . You are naturally crafted to do such a thing . Your talent is your God given capacity or potential that enables you to do any handiwork without stress .If you are talented in doing the very work or job you are doing , you should know that it is the will of God for you .

This means in the process of time , you will become successful if you remain consistent with what you are doing as a child of God . Whatever God gives us talent for has the in-built capacity to make us successful in the long run . 

Skilled in it 

Whatever you are skilful or have acquired the skill to do , is definitely what God wants you to do , in order to become successful in life . If you find out that you do a particular thing , profession or career in an exceptional way and the end product is exceptionally good . Then of course , you are on the right path , it is the will of God for you . You are persistent in doing it , you will become successful in the end .

You love doing it 

Whatever good job or career  you love doing , might also be the will of God for your life . Such things can eventually make you successful , if you continue doing it persistently .There are some careers that a person might have passion for , usually something he cannot do without . This is usually knitted to his or her destiny , and such things eventually bring success to the individual .

You have the means

Another thing that should help you to discover the will of God in what you are doing is when you have the means to do the very work ,job , career , profession or business that you are doing or want to venture into .  There are times when you want to venture into something because people are doing it or someone has recommended it for you to do . Yet , you lack the means to do such a business or job . 

This means you do not have the resources necessary to such a thing . When that happens , after trying your possible best to acquire the means yet to no avail , it means that ,it might be against the will of God for you . In that case , you might do as much as you can , but you might not be successful in it .

It is Genuine 

Whatever you are doing or wants to do in order to become successful in life , it must be genuine work or job . This means doing illegal work or business such as drug paddling , trafficking or indecent work like prostitution is definitely not the will of God for you .

Anything illegal , fraudulent or abysmal is against the will of God , and whatever success you get out of it is a “ bad success” and not a “  good success “ . The bible talks about good success in Joshua 1:8 “ This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

 Pray About It 

It is important that you pray to know the will of God concerning your business or work . Every child of God must be prayerful when it comes to doing any work , business , profession or career . Prayer is the most authentic way to discover the will of God for your pursuit of success . Yeshua told us about praying to discover the will of God.  “Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.” Luke 11:2

SP 10 B : Is It The Will of God For Me To Be Where I Am ?

Where are you in life ? Which location are ? Which level are you ? Is it God that has brought me this far ? If these questions are answered well , then we should understand that we are heading towards somewhere or we are not going anywhere at all . Progress in life is determined by where you start from . 

If you discover that where you are presently and what you are doing presently is not the will of God for you , then you should get ready to move to the place where God has designed for you and do the things that God wants you to do . For instance if you are a prostitute , staying at the brothel , you should know that it is not the will of God for your life . Or if you are a fraudster , staying with the gang of fraudsters , you should know that it is not the will of God for you .

If you are a drunkard always sitting at the drinking bar , you should know that is not your level . As a child of God you must understand there are some places you visit or spend time that is actually impeding your progress in life . You need to come out of all those places that seem to limit your speed of success in life and move on to your next level .   

 Your next level of life is dependent on your present level , and what you are doing presently . The place , location , and the things your are doing now , will determine your next level in life . Are you working , studying , investing, spending, praying , writing , playing , practising ,or just staying idle?  need to be at the right place , and level at the right time .

Geography 

Your geographical location matters a lot if you are to succeed in life . There are some places you are that you can never experience the success that you so much desired . Like Abraham , you need to change location before God will bless you to be successful in life .” Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing ” Genesis 12:1-2 

Some people can prosper where you are , but it does not mean you too can make it in life if you dwell there with them . God might design a locational blessing for you that you need to discover . Many years ago a certain man came to me for prayers , saying that he wanted to travel abroad to America where his friend is processing some documents for him .And the Lord told me to tell him that he should not go, that God has designed his own success in Ghana .

In fact I told that he can be rich in Ghana , because that is the will of God for his life . Two years later he came to me in a very expensive car , apparently God had blessed him according to the prophetic word I gave . I was told that he could send money to import vehicles from abroad into the country . You see, geographical blessings are very powerful especially if you have a word from God about any location or place that he wants you to be or do something and should not be underestimated in any way  . 

If you receive a revelation about a location that God designed for you , do not hesitate to go there , because that is a stepping stone to your prosperity .When God wants to bless you , he might design the blessing to meet at a certain geography and location . Like Joseph , all his dreams of success came to pass in Egypt . If he had stayed in Canaan , he would have ended up like his eleven brothers , with nothing to account for , unable to feed their families .  

 

Level 

Level is all about maturity , age , education , status , achievement and attainment in life . God wants you to advance in life to a certain level before you can be successful . Always strive to move forward in life , education , business , knowledge , and life in general . Never live a life contentment at your level ,if you want to be successful you must move on to the level where God wants you to be in life .  

That is when you become ripe for success to be achievable in your life , at times it is just a matter of age , God is waiting for you to reach a certain age , before you become successful .At times is education , God wants you to get some degrees before you become successful . That means God wants you to possess some degree of knowledge and wisdom , before he gives you the wisdom. 

For instance the bible reports that “Jesus  grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” Luke 2:52

    

SP 9 B : Is It The Will Of God For Me To Be Who I Am ?

 

'' Who am I ? '' and '' is it the will of God for me to be who I am ? '' To me this is one of the  most important questions about yourself that will help you to have a healthy self image about who you are . If your self identification is clear , then you can build confidence to pursue success .For instance '' Am black and it is the perfect will of God for me ''.

It is the will of God , because God created me black . In this sense, to desire to be any other race  , either than black will impede my success level . This is because I will always use it as an excuse not to embark on any successful adventure that comes my way , especially where there are racial competitions .  

On the other hand, if I discover that who I am is not God's will , because he did not create me that way , then it is a cause for me to strive to become who God wants me to be . If you see that '' you are a drunk '' it is something that is against the will of God for your life ,and you should not accept it . Compare yourself to the word of God and you will discover yourself ; who you are according to the word of God .

'' For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. '' James 1: 23-25 

At times you find yourself doing things that change who you are , or the personality that God created you to be . If you want to maintain your self worth , you must look at yourself in the mirror of God’s word .It is only the word of God that reveals the real you according to the word of God . Without the word of God ,you cease to be the person that God created .

When a person misses out on who God created him or her to be , such a person  becomes worthless , visionless and purposeless . Such people end up doing anything , at all just to survive . Life is best lived if you are able to discover who God created you to be , like the prodigal child who came to the realization of who was “.And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,” Luke 15:17-18

The very important thing for you is to “ come to yourself “ , that is come to your senses . This is the greatest self discovery , knowing yourself the way God created you . There is a need to return back to God Almighty , who you created for he is able to fix all the broken pieces of your destiny .” And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.” Luke 1

What the prodigal son realised is that he was not created as a swine , although he found himself feeding on the husk that the swine fed on . Everyone of us must realise our true identity from God’s point of view , because he is our creator .

Whenever we discover that our present state is not the way God designed our life to be , we must act immediately like the prodigal son . He took a U-turn , and went back to the father , sure we all have our Father in heaven who is eagerly awaiting repentance . Without God a person can be dead from the will , plan and life of God for their lives . 

When God receives you , he forgives you especially when you fully repent and give your life to Christ . What is more , God gives you the best ;  “ And the son said unto him, Father I, have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. ”  Luke 15:  21-24  

 

A journey back to our creator is the first step to success. Whenever we find our true source of success , we can succeed without stress . God is our source and the earlier we return back to him , the better our lives will be and we will be more successful in life . All God’s people who served God faithfully eventually became successful at the end . 

SP 8 B : What Time Should I Do It ?

   Whatever you want to do to be successful , you should not wait for any perfect conditions , in order to start doing it , otherwise  you will never get to do that thing . The only perfect time is your maturity ,but with that you should know that no one is ever mature enough to be successful unless they start training or working on their future success . That is why we send our kids to school when they are young , so they can learn how to do things to succeed in this world . 

So do not wait for someone who has promised to help you , or to have big money , or win a lottery ,or  to travel abroad ,or  have a big capital , a large space, a better job ,  etc , but rather start doing something on your own . When you start doing little things on your on own , you are promoting yourself to a level of success with the help of God .

Now 

You can start now , especially now that you are reading this book and getting this information . The best time to start doing something that will bring success your way is now , there are somethings you can probably do now that will bring you the desired success that you so much long for. 

Many have missed great opportunities , because they never made use of the “ now ” , such people are full of procrastination that have eaten away their success . Now missed out on now , just make sure that you make use of every opportunity that comes your every now and then . Never wait a moment to do something that you see that you can do now and at the moment .

People who are always saying later, there is more time are those who allow their success doors to close before they come to their senses . You can start doing something new about your success , when you have the available information , resources , funds , knowledge , strength , qualifications , and all it requires .  

When

The best time to start your success journey is : 

When you are strong enough to work towards your success ,

When you have the time to do what it takes to be successful , 

When you have the information needed to embark on your success venture,

When you have completed the training to do something that bring success .

When you have graduated from school and have the necessary qualifications .

When you have the necessary  resources for success .

When you have people or no people to help you , just start something on your own . 

When you are alive and healthy, do something in life .Even some sick people try to do something despite the malady . 

When people are helping you , do something to help yourself . Do not fold arms because some people are lending a helping hand to you . 

When people forsake you , don’t forsake your dreams and ambitions , be like Joseph , who became successful , despite the fact that his brothers forsook him . 

Little ,

All successful people start in a little way ,you don’t wait to have a big capital, more time , more people , more help , more labourers , more funds .You can your success pursuit with a:

Little money , it doesn’t matter how big your vision is , you must start with any scanty amount of money you have at your disposal .

Little help , you whenever people help you in a very little way , it is actually a push . You must appreciate any little help from friends and relatives . Use that as a catapult to move up on the ladder of success .

Little strength , you can start life’s success journey with any little strength that you have available . The bible talks about little that people have , yet they obey the word of God . “ I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” Revelation 3:8

Little way ,you must know how to start in a little way , anything big always starts in a little way . All the big companies in town always started in a small way . If you want to start in a big way ,you will never start . You must understand that the take off is always small , but with time it becomes very big .
